How to get here and what to bring
We’re located in central Florida, about two hours from Orlando. Directions and parking details are simple. Pack light but smart for a weekend under the pines.
Getting here is straightforward
We’re off Highway 27 near Lake Wales. GPS coordinates and detailed directions are sent with your confirmation.
Bring what matters for camping
Tent, sleeping bag, layers, sunscreen, bug spray, and a good attitude. We handle the rest.

Fire Safety Notice: Burn Ban in Effect
Please note that a burn ban is currently in effect per the Hernando County Fire Department.
Violations may result in an $850 fine per citation and possible jail time

Large Pavilion
Perfect for weddings, family reunions, festivals, retreats, and larger private events, our Large Pavilion gives you plenty of room to gather without losing that outdoor Ranch feel.
With a spacious covered setup, built-in stage area, and room for large groups, it’s one of the most popular rental spaces on the property. Surrounded by the natural beauty of the Ranch, it creates a relaxed setting that feels welcoming from the moment guests arrive.
Because this space books quickly, we strongly recommend planning ahead for reservations.
Large Pavilion Rental:
$350 per day (tax included)

Small Pavilion
The Small Pavilion is a great fit for birthday parties, club meetings, smaller family gatherings, workshops, and casual weekend get-togethers.
Covered, comfortable, and tucked into the wooded setting of the Ranch, it offers a simple space to gather while still enjoying the outdoors. It’s an easy option for groups that want a private space without needing a full event setup.
Small Pavilion Rental:
$150 per day (tax included)
Kitchen rental available upon request.

Not staying overnight? You’re still welcome to come enjoy the Ranch for the day.
Spend time exploring the wooded trails, relaxing by the spring-fed creek, enjoying the open fields, or gathering with friends under the pavilions. Day use is perfect for family outings, picnics, small meetups, nature walks, or simply getting away from the city for a few hours.

Event-Specific Questions
Do I need reservations for regular camping?
Nope! For normal weekdays and open weekends, reservations are not required. Just make sure there isn’t a festival happening by checking the event calendar first.
Are festival weekends priced the same as regular camping?
No, festival weekends usually have different pricing set by the event organizers, not standard ranch camping rates.
Who do I contact with questions about a specific festival?
Each festival is hosted by its own event company, so questions about tickets, camping, vendors, or schedules should go directly to that event’s staff. Their contact info is listed with the event.
Is Florida Sand Music Ranch open every day?
Yes! The ranch is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Can my organization rent the ranch for a private event?
Yes. Clubs, family gatherings, workshops, retreats, and other group events can rent portions of the ranch. Just fill out the rental inquiry form to get started.
Does Florida Sand Music Ranch choose festival vendors?
No. Vendors are selected by the individual festival promoters, not by the ranch itself.
How do I know if a vendor request is legitimate?
Only trust vendor information directly from the festival promoter listed on the event page. If someone else contacts you asking for vendor fees, it may be a scam.
Can I still camp during a festival weekend?
Usually yes, but festival registration is often required in advance and pricing will be different from regular camping rates.
